Our client is an Engineering company based in the Liverpool area and they require a skilled Mechanical Fitter ideally with experience of overhauling and repairing mechanical pumps. This is mainly a workshop position that will include site work removing pumps from site and then back to the workshop for overhaul, refurbishment and test.
You must be a time served Mechanical Fitter ideally with experience of overhauling different kinds of pumps, identifying failures and experience in replacing parts that need replacing, fitting mechanical seals etc.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm.
This is a permanent position with a basic salary of £35,500 plus regular overtime and call out bonus.
