Position: Liability Desktop Adjuster
Location: Anywhere in the UK (Hybrid Working)

We are currently recruiting for experienced Liability Desktop Adjusters/Claims Handlers to join a leading liability team handling Third Party Property Damage claims. This role involves full cradle-to-grave investigation and management of public and product liability claims for prestigious clients, with opportunities for site visits where necessary. You will have the support of in-house surveyors and field adjusters as required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a portfolio of third-party property damage claims
  • Conducting detailed investigations and providing expert liability assessments
  • Managing claims from inception to settlement
  • Collaborating with internal surveyors, field adjusters, and legal experts
  • Engaging with corporate clients, small businesses, insurers, and brokers

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in liability claims handling or adjusting
  • Knowledge of JCT contracts, Party Wall Act, and Motor Trade claims (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of insurance law, policy wordings, contracts, and civil liability
  • Excellent investigative skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Strong communication skills clear, concise, and empathetic
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients
