  • Job Description: Davies Group is recruiting for a Claims Handler to join the Motor Claims team, managing a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims including personal injury from inception to settlement.

Davies Group are recruiting for a Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team. As a Handler, youll be the first point of telephone contact for our customers. So, youll need to be a great communicator, dedicated to providing a professional and empathetic service and have experience in commercial motor claims. The Claims Handler would manage a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims including personal injury from inception to settlement.

Please Note: This is a hybrid role - you will be required to go into the office 1 day per week.

What will your day look like:

To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims including personal injury from inception to settlement

To support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity

To work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service

To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance

Interact and communicate with clients

Abilities And Knowledge:

Experience of dealing with motor personal injury claims under the predictive costs regime is desirable

Experience of the OIC and MOJ portals

Pre-litigation experience

Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and email

Customer service experience

Excellent attention to detail

Negotiation skills

Communication skills

Organisational skills
