Spotlightjobs are recruiting for a Claims Handler to join a growing Motor Claims team. As a Handler, youll be the first point of telephone contact for our customers. So, youll need to be a great communicator, dedicated to providing a professional and empathetic service and have experience in motor claims. The Claims Handler would manage a caseload of Accidental Damage Motor Claims.

What will your day look like:

To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims from inception to settlement

Identify and access liability.

To support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity

To work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service

To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance

Abilities And Knowledge:

Experience of dealing with motor claims

Experience of dealing with liability and quantum dispute cases

Experience of dealing with repair documentation

Experience of quoting case law effectively

Experience of dealing with clients

Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and email

Customer service experience

Excellent attention to detail

Negotiation skills

Communication skills

Organisational skills

Excellent time keeping skills

The ability to work as a team and independently

The ability to manage own workload
