We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join a leading Bridging Lender in Bootle, Liverpool.

Candidates should have relevant experience as a Bridging Underwriter, Mortgage Underwriter, or similar roles.
The role involves managing the entire lending process, assessing customer profiles, and preparing credit proposals for the Credit Committee.

You will work on each case from application to completion and contribute to the growth of the business.The Package for the Underwriter role:

Duties for the Underwriter:

Managing the entire lending process from application through to drawdown to include oversight of the underwriting and due diligence processes
Acting on new lending requests for bridging loans and analysing creditworthiness
Underwriting bridging loan against agreed lending criteria
Preparing detailed credit proposals for submission to the Credit Committee

Skills for the Underwriter:

We would like to hear from you if you have experience working as an Bridging Underwriter, Mortgage Underwriter, Case Manager, Mortgage Processor or Similar
CeMAP qualified would be a huge advantage but not essential
Excellent people and relationship-building skills across all seniority levels
A track record of excellent negotiation skills and logic in prioritising projects
