We are seeking an Import Coordinator to manage inbound movements on behalf of our clients, ensuring their interests are prioritised while also delivering on the strategic objectives of our group. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with deep sea import experience and excellent customer service skills.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Receive pre-advices and shipping documentation.
  • Open files and issue notices of arrival.
  • Issue customs clearance instructions.
  • Book FCL and LCL deliveries, including merchant and line haulages.
  • Handle day-to-day invoicing and profit reporting.
  • Follow up on purchase orders/shipments.
  • Communicate with overseas offices/partners.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide customer reporting and maintain high levels of customer service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven deep sea import experience.
  • Excellent ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Good telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Friendly, calm, and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
