Income Advisor (fixed term contract) vacancy waiting to be filled

Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Association and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:          Income Advisor

Location:          Liverpool – Remote role

Rate:                £33,000 - £34,500 (Negotiable DOE)

Length:            3-month fixed term   

Hours:              37 hours p/week (Mon- Fri)

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Delivering interventions and specialist support to customers through a partnership approach, promoting financial wellbeing and maximising income for customers and the Business
  • Monitoring and managing rent accounts from sign-up to tenancy termination and dealt with former tenant arrears
  • Responsible for aspects of the rent recovery process including chasing arrears over the phone, sending letters and carrying out home visits where applicable
  • Negotiating new payment plans and set up direct debit schemes
  • Dealing with arrears and responsible for reducing total rent arrears
  • Working with tenants both over the phone and face to face, offering advice and guidance in relation to benefit and income maximisation

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience in working in a customer facing role, have prior experience specific to the provision of financial support and/or comprehensive understanding of issues relating to financial difficulties and/or Welfare benefits. The successful candidate will need to be available to start within a 1-2 week notice to be considered for this role.
