A leading employee-owned planning consultancy is seeking a Senior or Associate Planner to join their growing team in Liverpool City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, collaborating with skilled professionals across multiple disciplines, including planning, urban design, transport, and sustainability.
The RoleThe successful candidate will:
- Provide expert commercial planning advice to clients in both the public and private sectors
- Prepare and submit high-quality planning applications and appeals
- Manage and coordinate project teams, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders
- Support senior staff on larger projects while also leading on individual assignments
- Contribute to business development through networking and client engagement
- Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) with 5-8 years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and experience handling a variety of planning issues
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
- A proactive approach to business development, including networking and client meetings
- Hybrid working with core office days
