Your new companyOur client is a reputable insurance law firm with offices nationwide. They are currently recruiting for an EL/PL team leader to join their Liverpool office. This is a non-fee earning role. A competitive salary and hybrid working policy is available and negotiable dependent on experience. Your new roleThis EL/PL Team Leader position will see you supervise a team of fee earners within the firm's casualty department. You will be responsible for the supervision and monitoring of junior team members. This includes hosting monthly 1-2-1's and team meetings where you will set achievable objectives, ensuring these are regularly met. You will dispute work across the team considering fee earners' capability and current capacity. Financial responsibilities of this role include, managing client finances, controlling team costs and other financial measures to ensure they are kept within target.What you'll need to succeedYou should be a qualified solicitor/lawyer with strong knowledge of all stages of the litigated claims handling process. Previous experience of defendant personal injury or corporate risk is beneficial. Experience as a team leader or similar position is essential. This role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
