We are currently recruiting for a Family Law Solicitor for our client who are a fast-growing practice, providing high quality legal services to both UK and International organisations.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice on a range of family law matters.
As a Family Law Solicitor, your duties will be: -
- Manage a full and varied caseload of family law matters. Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Engage in negotiations on behalf of clients, aiming to resolve disputes amicably where possible. Prepare cases for court and represent clients in family law proceedings when necessary. Draft, review, and finalise legal documents such as petitions, consent orders, pre-nuptial agreements, and other family related contracts. Ensure all work complies with relevant legal frameworks and professional standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering empathetic support during what is often a challenging time. Work independently, as well as with other departments within the firm, to provide comprehensive legal services.
The successful Family Law Solicitor will have the following skills: -
- Must be a qualified Solicitor with experience in family law. Strong knowledge of family law, including divorce, financial remedy, children’s law, and domestic violence. Proven experience in handling a diverse family law caseload from inception to conclusion. Excellent client care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in the use of case management systems and other relevant software.
