Solicitor Advocate

An ambitious Insurance specialist practice in Liverpool seeks a Solicitor or Barrister looking to take on an exciting new challenge as an Advocate for one of the UK's leading defendant law firms.

Role

As a Solicitor (ideally with Higher Rights of Audience) or Barrister with a strong background in Advocacy you will have detailed experience in Personal Injury (RTA & EL/PL), Fraud and ideally Professional Negligence.

Undertaking a range of advocacy work duties will include, drafting and advisory work; including but not limited to pleadings, Stage 3 hearings, interlocutory hearings, small claims, fast track trials, sanctions and recoveries etc. You'll be able to assist more senior members of the Advocacy team as and when necessary and help and support the junior team members and fee earners across the department.

Ideally you are a confident Advocate with a solid background in litigation, have previously dealt with your own Advocacy matters, be able to work with little to no supervision and pride yourself on delivering the best service to your clients. There may be the need for travel to other offices in the group periodically and attendance at Court regularly!
