Due to significant ongoing investments and exciting upcoming projects, this manufacturer in the Halewood area is looking to hire a Quality Engineer. The company offers excellent working conditions, a family-oriented environment, and a strong focus on training and development.
Role Overview:
Quality Management: Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.Product Introduction Support: Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and support production trials.Compliance and Non-Conformance Management: Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure compliance and resolve any non-conformance issues.Documentation: Create and maintain quality and process documentation, including PFMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions.Process Improvement: Oversee engineering process changes, ensuring alignment with quality standards.Team Leadership: Lead a team of shift-based Quality Control (QC) personnel.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience with FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC.Experience in the automotive industry or a related sector is highly advantageous.Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply engineering principles.Engineering qualification and relevant experience within quality engineering, preferably in the automotive sector.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company with long-term career prospects and a commitment to employee development.
