About the Role
You will provide administrative and secretarial support to a team of Fee Earners within the Property and Casualty division, reporting directly to the Head of Practice Services.
Responsibilities include:
" Diary management for meetings and conference calls.
" Booking video/conference calls, meeting rooms, and arranging refreshments and reservations.
" Making simple travel arrangements (e.g., booking train tickets, collating itineraries).
" Handling telephone enquiries professionally, taking accurate messages, and following up on actions.
" Managing document workflow to DPD, Reprographics, etc., ensuring timely returns.
" Amending and formatting agreements/documents as needed.
" Assisting with the bi-monthly billing process.
" Converting PDFs to Word and vice versa.
" Collating and indexing legal documentation, setting up files.
" Producing short, less complex PowerPoint presentations.
" Proofreading documents to ensure high-quality delivery.
" Handling general correspondence as required.
" Processing fee earner expenses on Chrome River promptly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
" Excellent client care skills, able to handle queries professionally.
" Strong organisational skills, taking responsibility for tasks.
" Ability to work on own initiative.
" Good time management, able to meet deadlines with high accuracy.
" Confident and professional communication skills at all levels.
" Previous corporate environment experience is essential.
