I am currently supporting a key client within the legal sector who are looking for an experienced Legal & Document Production Secretary for their corporate function, to join a knowledgeable and professional secretarial team. Your new role

The main purpose of your role is to provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support for the corporate department. This is a vibrant and fast-paced role where your main responsibilities will include control and preparation of legal documentation, audiotyping, accurately managing diaries and case management systems and managing and responding to a high volume of emails. You will also be expected to build and maintain relationships with clients and liaise with other senior stakeholders where relevant. You will mostly be supporting the Managing Partner and must have exposure to dealing with corporate clients and documentation.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have previous experience as a Legal secretary within a corporate division. You must have sound knowledge of document production; a skills test will be required during the interview stage to demonstrate this. You will have the ability to accurately transcribe audio dictation and copy type from draft documents, be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and showcase excellent communication skills along with a confident and proactive manner.

You will have experience of maintaining accurate filing systems and databases, be able to work collaboratively and be able to take charge of diary management, travel arrangements and meeting preparation. Experience using BigHand is highly advantageous. Please note, this is not a full PA role but on occasion, these duties will need to be fulfilled. 80% of this role is Legal Document Production and Secretarial support.
