Commercial Property Legal Assistant

Our client, a highly reputable law firm in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Legal Assistant to join their city centre office. This role is perfect for candidates looking for either full or part-time work.

Duties will include:

  • Create files and assist in drafting reports on titles, SDLT returns, and legal documents.
  • Manage post-completion tasks for grants of leases, lease assignments, and sales/purchases of freehold/leasehold properties, including filing SDLT returns, registering titles, and file closure.
  • Prepare invoices, and completion statements, and handle accounting documentation.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, word processing, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Assist in all areas of conveyancing.

Desired skills and experience:

  • To be considered for this position, it is required to have at least 12 months of recent experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, possess confidence and be organised, while also demonstrating the ability to work using their own initiative.
  • You should also have proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
