Are you eager to begin a career in secondary education but lack experience or confidence?
Do you want to gain valuable classroom experience while working toward a teaching qualification or PGCE?
Do you have a degree or extensive experience in a specific field and feel ready to share your expertise with students aged 11-18?

We are partnering with secondary schools in Liverpool to recruit Classroom Supervisors. This role offers the flexibility of daily supply work or longer-term placements, providing a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering a career in teaching.

As a Classroom Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead lessons for classes of around 30 pupils in the absence of the teacher.
  • Facilitate learning across a range of subjects (no need to be a specialist).
  • Use lesson plans provided in advance to guide your teaching.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and take attendance.
  • Provide a brief handover to the absent teacher.

Successful Classroom Supervisors are adaptable, confident, motivated, and well-organised. They are passionate about education and supporting young people’s learning journeys.

Requirements

The desired Classroom Supervisor will have:

-               A degree or equivalent education

-               A willingness to learn

-               A natural leader and someone with the confidence to lead a lesson in the absence of the class teacher

-               A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people
