Logistics Manager | Liverpool | Events | 40k

An exciting opportunity has arise for a dynamic and organised Logistics Manager to join a growing team. This is a pivotal role where you'll help shape and streamline logistics operations, ensuring smooth travel and timely distribution of products. If you have a passion for problem-solving and want to make an impact within a fast-paced, creative environment, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a full time opportunity working just 4 days per week. 3 days in the office and 1 day working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport Management: You'll oversee all travel needs, researching and booking transportation and accommodations, and ensuring itineraries align with business goals and budgets.

  • Event Logistics: Plan and coordinate the distribution of products, ensuring everything arrives on time and in perfect condition.

  • Fleet Management: Manage fleet of vans, including coordinating servicing, insurance, and repairs, and keeping track of vehicle usage and costs.

  • Efficient Booking: Implement and manage a streamlined booking system for van use, ensuring vehicles are optimally allocated and drivers are scheduled effectively.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small logistics team, providing training, monitoring performance, and driving a culture of improvement.

  • Budget & Financial Management: Take ownership of the logistics budget, setting KPIs, managing expenses, and optimizing costs without compromising quality.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve logistical processes and systems, supporting business growth and efficiency.

  • Supplier Relations: Build strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, couriers, and partners to secure the best rates and reliable service.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven Experience: You have experience in logistics, travel/event management, or a similar role.

  • Team Leadership: You have experience managing and motivating a team, setting clear goals, and ensuring high performance.

  • Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and ideally have experience with logistics management software.

  • Proactive & Detail-Oriented: You're a self-starter who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and is committed to getting things right.
