Senior Procurement Manager

About the Role:

As Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Strategically sourcing goods and services to enhance quality and drive innovation at optimal cost.
• Leading category management strategies and cross-functional teams.
• Ensuring responsible sourcing in line with ethical, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
• Acting as a consultative partner, providing insights across spend categories.
• Championing best-in-class procurement processes and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimise cost and supplier relationships.
• Utilise SAP Ariba and other tools to drive procurement efficiency.
• Lead negotiations and establish long-term supplier partnerships.
• Provide market intelligence and regular reporting on cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience desirable).
• Understanding of contract principles and supplier development.
• Degree-level qualification (business-related preferred) and CIPS accreditation (desirable).
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and overseas.
