About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Gas Engineer to join our team on a sub-contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances in social housing properties within the Liverpool and Warrington area.
Salary Structure:
- Breakdown:£229.50 day rate
Job Type:
- Full-time - 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
- Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
- Provide clients with advice and guidance on the use and maintenance of gas systems and appliances
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work performed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
- Maintain effective communication with clients and team members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
- Relevant qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
- Own van and tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Clean DBS check
