Based in Liverpool, the company is a leading manufacturer in their field. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an excellent company within the automotive industry!

Your new roleDouble days shift 6-2, 2-10. The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of plant equipment & machinery within the company. The role will involve problem-solving equipment issues, supporting & recovering reactive breakdowns, identifying, leading & supporting maintenance. Continuous Improvement - working on both small Kaizen to large capital projects, completion of routine maintenance tasks, with the goal of minimising downtime and optimising productivity.

What you'll need to succeedYou will have:

- A detailed understanding of differing equipment, machinery & systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic - The ability to quickly identify and resolve maintenance issues- A clear understanding of safety regulations- Effective time management- Ability to identify, document and implement improvements throughout a maintenance environment- A relevant Engineering qualification, or relevant experience- Good communication skills across a multitude of platforms
