As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in the optimisation of core processes in the machining area of plant. You will also support industrialisation of new equipment, ensuring it hits all performance, quality, and financial targets.

Key tasks:

  • Develop methods of making machining and manufacturing practices more efficient and cost effective
  • Collaborate with vendors to research, design and test manufacturing methods and equipment
  • OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) focused improvements
  • Generate and present detailed reports on product and process performance
  • Innovate new manufacturing techniques that reduce costs, improve space and improve energy performance.
  • Champion industrialisation efforts to drive process integrity, error-proofing and enhanced capability
  • Lead the standardisation of manufacturing practices across the business

Requirements:

  • Qualified Engineer HND/Degree
  • Proven experience of Manufacturing Engineering / Process Engineering / Industrial Engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge/experience of CNC machining
  • Strong time management skills with a target-driven mindset.
  • A proven problem solver who can work independently and with internal stakeholders to create effective solutions
  • A hands-on approach with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
