What You'll Do:As a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our client's refinery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek and develop ideas for efficiency and energy monitoring projects. Bring your creativity and flair to drive innovation!
  • Problem Solving: Tackle challenges head-on, even with limited information, and assist in accident and incident investigations.
  • Process Optimisation: Conduct trials for product optimisation and efficiency improvements, using data to inform operational adjustments.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide expert troubleshooting support to minimise downtime across our manufacturing assets.
  • Collaboration: Engage in scheduling meetings with various departments and participate in cross-functional teams to resolve process issues.
  • Safety Leadership: Lead hazard studies and risk assessments, ensuring that safety procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Training Development: Implement training to ensure seamless integration of new projects into production processes.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Work collaboratively to meet environmental objectives and minimise operational impacts.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure food safety and quality standards are met through audits and inspections.

What We're Looking For:To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Educational Background: A degree in an engineering discipline (Chemical Engineering preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a Process or Production role is desirable, along with knowledge of statistical analysis and process control.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-Motivation: A proactive, self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Attention to Detail: High standards for yourself and others, ensuring accuracy in documentation and processes.
