This role is for an Admin Support in a Not For Profit environment, who will be a crucial team member within the Secretarial & Business Support department in Liverpool.

Description

  • Providing administrative assistance to various departments.
  • Coordinating and maintaining records for staff, office space, telephones, parking, company credit cards and office keys.
  • Creating and modifying documents such as invoices, reports, memos, letters and financial statements using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation software.
  • Conducting research, compiling data and preparing papers for consideration and presentation to the Executive Director, staff and Board of Trustees.
  • Establishing, developing, maintaining and updating filing system for the Executive Director and the senior management team.
  • Retrieving information from files when needed.
  • Organising and prioritising large volumes of information and calls.
  • Handling confidential and non-routine information.

Profile

A successful Admin Support should have:

  • A strong background in administrative roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise tasks.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards work.
  • Experience in the Not For Profit sector is desirable but not necessary.
