Are you an innovative leader with a passion for engineering and a keen interest in the automotive sector? We are seeking a Launch Engineering Manager to join a dynamic team a leading supplier of high-quality parts for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Launch Initiatives: Oversee the planning, execution, and management of all launch engineering activities to ensure successful product introductions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to coordinate resources and align project objectives.
- Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and milestones to drive on-time and on-budget launches.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering processes and launch activities meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and product quality.
- Team Development: Mentor and coach engineering staff, promoting skills development and effective teamwork.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, providing technical support and updates throughout the launch process.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in launch management within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successful product launches.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in relevant engineering software and project management tools.
