Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and drive the success of multiple high-value construction projects, with a particular focus on high-rise developments. About the Role

As an Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Construction Director and be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will manage a team of 3-4 Project Managers and oversee projects with an annual turnover of approximately 75 million, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional results.



Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful delivery of multiple high-rise construction projects across Liverpool and Manchester.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration.
  • Drive operational excellence, aligning project goals with company objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met without compromising quality or safety.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across projects to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Provide regular updates to the Construction Director and Senior Leadership Team on project performance, timelines, and budgets.


Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a senior operational role within the construction industry, with a strong focus on high-rise developments.
  • Preferably MCIOB or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to manage and inspire teams, driving excellence across all levels.
  • Demonstrated success managing the construction of high-rise developments, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the construction landscape in Liverpool and Manchester.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must be locally based in Liverpool/Manchester or within commuting distance.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale construction projects and multi-million-pound budgets.
