Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the recruitment team to ensure we attract and hire the right quality of candidates, in the appropriate numbers and at the right time to support Gray Healthcares growth strategy. This role involves managing the recruitment team and implementing effective strategies to meet our hiring goals.

Key Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Manager:

  • Directly manage the recruitment team.
  • Oversee the Gray Healthcare applicant tracking system.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement recruitment marketing campaigns, which include identifying and attending important recruitment fairs, utilising social media, managing recruitment websites, directing CV database searches, and designing marketing materials.
  • Work closely with Operations, Clinical, and Business Development Managers to understand recruitment needs for potential growth and to clarify the requirements for new business related to candidate experience and knowledge.
  • Review recruitment policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Design job advertisements in collaboration with operational colleagues and the individuals we support.
  • Continuously assess our attraction methods to determine their effectiveness, sourcing alternatives when current strategies are not yielding results.
  • Provide and monitor recruitment statistics, such as the number of vacancies, applications, and conversions, to identify trends and suggest improvements to current processes.
  • Develop interview questions and competency tests with the involvement of operational colleagues and the individuals we support.
  • Participate in the interview process for senior and specialized roles within the organization, working in partnership with Senior Managers.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders such as NHS Recruitment Leads, recruitment agencies, and apprenticeship schemes along with the Learning & Development Manager.

Essential experience of Talent Acquisition Manager:

  • A degree or equivalent education is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in recruiting staff, preferably within the Health and Social Care sector.
  • At least 3 years of management experience in recruiting staff, preferably within the Health and Social Care sector.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in recruitment marketing.
  • Proven track record of effectively using social media for recruitment purposes.
  • Strong and charismatic communication skills, with the ability to motivate the team to achieve their goals.
  • A commitment to building engaging relationships with candidates.
  • A solution-focused approach to recruitment challenges.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of recruitment statistics and analyse them to ensure they align with the company's objectives.

Desirable:


  • Understanding of CQC regulations
  • Experience of working within the Health & Social Care Sector
