What You Will Do:

Lead the investigation process for Squeak & Rattle (S&R), body sealing, and water leaks, establishing root causes and collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and suppliers.
Utilize a hands-on approach during investigations, following 8D methodology, including the interrogation of drawings, models, and taking measurements from production.
Plan work/events and organize detailed activity to deliver outcomes, strategizing work streams based on the Business Plan.
Demonstrate good negotiation skills to promote issues to the next phase of investigation, engaging with cross-functional areas proactively and personably.
Deliver presentations to work groups and senior management, showcasing your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Analyze large data sets to translate into actionable next steps, utilizing MS Office applications and planning work in 2-week sprints based on priority.

What You Will Bring:

Demonstrable problem-solving experience, e.g., Root Cause Analysis, 8 Disciplines of problem solving.
Knowledge and understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and a full UK driving licence.
Previous experience in New Model Launch or Vehicle Manufacturing operations is preferred.
Technical knowledge of vehicle engineering related to Squeaks & Rattle or Water.
An Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent automotive experience is preferred.
