Project Engineer Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing site projects, managing both new and existing equipment, and maintaining assets within the plant. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications is a key aspect of the role.

  • Leading projects aimed at improving plant efficiency and productivity, driving cost savings and increased output.
  • Managing projects from conception, design, and budgeting through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Developing detailed project plans, tracking progress, and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical and engineering support whilst preparing proposals, and overseeing planning, design, and execution.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety regulations and objectives.
  • As the Project Engineer, you will be required to demonstrate working knowledge of DSEAR / ATEX, HAZOPs, LOPA's and other safety study techniques.

Qualifications & Experience Required for the Project Engineer:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in a similar working environment, such as a chemical process or high-hazard industry.
  • Proven experience managing projects from design through to commissioning.
