Purpose of the Role:

The MEP Team has enormous potential and is looking to develop the team ofMechanical Design team.


Key Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with other discipline leads within the engineering team, as well as construction and commercial teams and external supply chains. The role reports to the Design Manager, who leads the mechanical design packages of our energy projects. The perfect candidate will join an established team of energy engineering experts, entirely focused on engineering solutions to support our clients in the transition to net zero carbon.


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5years UK building services experience
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a larger team and able to plan strategically, make decisions, act on own initiative, and operate in a pro-active way to support the needs of the business.
  • Solid experience in the design and development of mechanical building services
  • Experience with Hevacomp, AutoCAD, or Revit software
  • Well-versed in British and/or European standards, legislation, and working practices.
  • Experience in the design of high-quality and complex full mechanical building services.
  • An excellent ability to write their own reports.
  • Good all-around project/management leadership skills and problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent Team working and communication skills.
