We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Engineering Apprentice Assessor to assess the performance and progress of apprentices within the engineering sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that apprentices meet the required standards for their qualifications, offering feedback, and supporting their development throughout the apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of engineering apprentices to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to apprentices on their performance.
  • Ensure apprentices are developing the necessary skills in line with their qualification frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments and progress.
  • Collaborate with training providers and employers to ensure apprentices receive the appropriate support.

Requirements:

  • UK Assessing qualifications (such as A1, TAQA, or equivalent) are essential.
  • Practical industry experience in engineering, with a preference for a mechanical bias.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to assess and support apprentices in their development.
