- Calibrate basic laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including updating the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Process samples for forensic testing using LCMS and GCMS techniques.
- Liaise with suppliers for procurement and manage laboratory stock levels.
- Handle waste management in compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare samples for forensic analysis.
- Produce forensic reports based on data received from testing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as UKAS, ISO, or GLP.
- A degree in a life science discipline, ideally forensic science.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in an analytical or testing laboratory.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment (e.g., UKAS, ISO, GLP).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.
- A valid driving license is preferable.
