Role- Senior Process Engineer

Salary- 50,000- 60,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)

Type- Permanent (Hybrid working available)

Location- Liverpool

My client design and manufacture a range of products and they are looking to take on a Senior Process Engineer, on a permanent basis.

The Senior Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Previous experience working in a similar Process Engineer role in a Pharma environment or similar industry
  • Excellent knowledge of process control / P&ID
  • Exposure to having worked with valves and pumps
  • Proficiency in thermodynamics and pressure vessel design
  • Knowledge of Piping Design
  • Proficiency with carrying out CFD
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Leadership and Project Management capabilities
The Senior Process Engineer role will involve:

  • Designing and improving the pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
  • Carrying out pressure vessel calculations and pipe sizing
  • Ensuring products comply with industry standards and in line with customer expectations
  • Being involved in ensuring process improvements to improve quality
  • Using thermodynamic principles
  • Developing FAT Acceptance tests
  • Developing P&ID loops for automation
  • Liaising with the Controls Engineers
