Job Title: Homeless Assessment Officer

Pay Rate: 17 P/H (Umbrella)
Hours Per Week: 35 Hours
Job Type: Contract - 3 months+
Liverpool City Council are currently looking for a Homeless Assessment Officer to join their team on a contract basis.
The Role
- Conduct interviews and negotiations to prevent homelessness.
- Provide housing advice and support to vulnerable client groups.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of statements and findings.
- Collaborate with accommodation providers to secure solutions.
The Candidate
- Proven experience in homelessness prevention, housing advice, and working with vulnerable clients.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interviewing skills.
- In-depth knowledge of housing, welfare benefits, and relevant legislation.
- Ability to think creatively and deliver practical solutions for clients.
