Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the import and export of goods from global locations.
- Arrange collections with transport companies.
- Work closely with clients, international agents, and other partners.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering queries and offering updates.
- Track orders, handle invoicing, and manage pre-alerts from overseas.
- Process Customs entries as needed.
- Monitor shipments until they reach their final destination.
- Oversee job costing and invoicing.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience: At least 2 years with a UK-based freight forwarding company.
- Skills: Knowledge of import/export operations (air, road, ocean), customs clearance procedures, and experience with freight software (e.g., Cargowise, Multifreight).
- Customer Service: A strong commitment to providing top-notch customer support.
