As a Global Corporate Recruiter, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our dynamic team. This position primarily collaborates with stakeholders in the Business Assurance team, while also extending beyond this business line.  Your responsibility will include identifying exceptional candidates for corporate and strategic positions within our global operations. Working as part of the Global Talent Acquisition team, your role will be more than just filling vacancies. You’ll be a strategic partner to the business, converting challenging requirements into tangible results. You’ll leverage your expertise in sourcing techniques, including social media, to build a robust talent pipeline that aligns with our diverse business needs.

Job responsibilities are:

  • Work closely with our business managers, strategic HR partners and other stakeholders to understand SGS’s business strategies for growth and ensure your activities help to enable growth.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition teams to develop and implement end-to-end talent acquisition campaigns to hook hard to find talent.
  • Provide strategic advice to Hiring Managers during talent strategy discussions and during the recruitment lifecycle.
  • In times of heavy recruitment volume, work with leadership to prioritize recruitment needs.
  • To demonstrate a resourceful and creative approach to talent acquisition and capable to come up with out-of-the-box solutions that guide you to the right talent.
  • Establish yourself as the trusted advisor and strategic partner for hiring managers, playing a key role in all aspects of talent attraction and acquisition.
  • Ensure you are up to date on TA technologies and trends and advise the Global Head of Talent Acquisition accordingly.
  • Work on dedicated TA projects, in collaboration with local recruitment resources as required.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and local legislations.

Qualifications

  • University level education or equivalent.
  • 2 – 4 years’ worth of recruitment experience, preferably gained in a delivery-focused RPO, MSP, inhouse or agency role.
  • Recruitment experience in the service/TIC(testing, inspection, certificaiton) industry or with a notified body would be advantageous.
  • Proven background of directly sourcing candidates using methods such as networking, Boolean and x-ray searches.
  • Knowledge of social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, LI, Research Gate, Github, Xing is desirable.
  • Good IT skills and an interest in how data can help you work better.
  • You must be keen to learn, develop and a have a thirst for acquiring new knowledge and techniques.
  • You are curious, dedicated, and learn from your mistakes and pride yourself in providing the best level of service that you can give.
  • Proven interest in people and what makes them tick. Ideally, you’ll be comfortable working with C and E level stakeholders and managing their expectations.
  • Fluent in English and ability to speak other languages desirable.
  • Team player – we all stick together when times get tough.
