Job Overview

We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Therapy Inpatient Department at Aintree Hospital. This role focuses on providing acute general therapy services to support patient recovery, improve functional independence, and facilitate safe discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct functional assessments and develop personalized rehabilitation plans
Provide therapy interventions to enhance mobility and daily living skills
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care
Support discharge planning to promote a smooth transition to home or further care
Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to care planning meetings

Requirements

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
Minimum 6 months NHS experience (mandatory)
Experience in acute inpatient settings or general rehabilitation
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
