We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Liverpool on a locum basis. This role involves delivering essential community-based assessments and interventions for individuals requiring equipment and adaptations to support their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct community assessments in a local authority setting, identifying needs and recommending both standard and specialist equipment.
  • Plan and facilitate minor and major adaptations to enhance safety and functionality within clients’ homes.
  • Perform manual handling assessments, ensuring safe practices and compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to create individualized support plans.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records in line with professional and legal standards.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration and relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a local authority setting.
  • Proficiency in completing manual handling assessments.
