School in Liverpool looking to recruit a Band 6 Children's Occupational Therapist to join an exciting team with new opportunities. The client offers a full-time contract a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio.

Main Duties for the Children's Occupational Therapist includes.

  • To provide a Specialist Occupational Therapy Service for children/young people who have Learnding disabilities ages 3- 19.
  • Has experience working with children and young people who require targeted specialist support
  • Skilled in sensory integration therapy (postgraduate qualification in sensory integration is an advantage)
  • Is confident in providing specialist OT assessments and interventions
  • Experince working within ASD.
  • To provide a specialist responseand implementing intervention plans aimed at reducing the impact of disability.
  • To give evidenced consideration to the voice of the child/young person and their families.
  • An awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people, plus an understanding of the importance of dignity & respect when dealing with people.

To Be Successful.

  • Previous experience working as an Children's Occupational Therapist.
  • Must have experience in a school setting.
  • The candidate must have experience in training carers/families.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Occupational Therapist Qualification
