Leasehold & Right to Buy Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Leasehold & Right to Buy Advisor in Liverpool on a permanent basis. This is a part-time position, working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays each week, with a requirement of being in the office on a Wednesday. The FTE salary for this role is 26-31k DOE.

Your new role

• Acting as the first point of contact for all leaseholder, right to buy and service charge enquiries
• Ensure costs for services provided to leaseholders are recovered in accordance with current legislation, and monitoring the performance in relation to services charged separately from rent charges
• Assisting managers in supporting the service charge team, providing validation of annual service charge calculations and ensuring consistency for leaseholders
• Assisting with determinations of leaseholder's liability for service charges in accordance with the conditions of their lease and legislative requirements
• Assisting with arranging and coordination of meetings/forums where necessary to discuss leasehold/service charge issues
• Maintain and update information for customers to ensure they are fully aware of services offered by the group and are kept up to date on new developments
• Assisting with pursuing, monitoring and collection of leaseholder service charges and other related debts owed

What you'll need to succeed

• Good knowledge and understanding of housing management policies, right to buy and leaseholder policies and legislation
• Experience of managing leaseholder services and right to buy applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
• Ability to travel independently to a range of locations
