Role Lecturer/Assessor in Early Years/Childcare Location: Merseyside Type: Temporary or Permanent (Part time 2 days per week) Rate £30 per hour (temp) £31500 - £35500 (full time equivalent) is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer/Assessor in Early Years Childcare to join a leading Further Education College in Merseyside. This is a part time role that consists of a Friday online teaching and one other day of your choice assessing in nurseries across the Merseyside area. As a Lecturer/Assessor, you will: As a Lecturer/Assessor in Early Years/Childcare you will: * Deliver engaging and inspiring teaching sessions to learners pursuing qualifications in Early Years and Childcare. * Provide tailored support to learners to ensure their success in both academic and practical components of their course. * Assess learners work and placements to meet awarding body standards. * Have own transport and driving licence The successful candidate will have: * A relevant qualification in Early Years Childcare (Level 3 or above). * A recognised Assessors award (i.e TAQA CAVA A1 or D Units) * A recognised teaching qualification (or be working towards one). * Experience in assessing learners and supporting their development.
