Now has never been a better time to join Liverpool, seeking dedicated and experienced Social Workers to join their dynamic Duty and Assessment Team. Liverpool is a pretty settled authority offering a competitive hourly rate for the Merseyside area of 42 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families referred to the Duty and Assessment Team.
- Offer immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assessments, interventions, and support provided.
- Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children
- Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports
- Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings
Requirements:
- 2 years post qualifying experience
- Experience in Duty and Assessment team is preferable.
