Full-Time School Caretaker (L25) - 8 AM to 4 PM

Tradewind are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join our team in the L25 area. This is a full-time position (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday), offering an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the school buildings and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained
  • Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
  • Managing site security, including opening and closing the premises
  • Conducting regular health and safety checks
  • Overseeing contractors and deliveries
  • Responding to maintenance issues promptly
Person Specification:
  • Previous experience in a similar role (caretaker, site manager, or facilities management) desirable
  • Basic DIY and maintenance skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations
