Job Overview:We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Supplier Onboarding Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the supplier onboarding process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of new supplier setups and amendments to existing records. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain operations, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Onboarding & Record Maintenance:
    • Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding new suppliers, including reviewing, approving, and updating supplier records.
    • Ensure all supplier information is accurate and up-to-date, adhering to company policies and procedures.
    • Oversee the onboarding and amendment requests, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Provide proactive updates to business requestors throughout the supplier onboarding and amendment process.
    • Collaborate closely with business partners, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to address any issues or delays.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier onboarding queries and provide support as needed.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance:
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the company's procurement policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance the supplier onboarding process, making it more efficient and future-ready.
    • Ensure all supplier onboarding activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, business partners, and internal team members.
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to support overall business objectives and ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with supplier onboarding processes and data management is highly desirable.
