We are working on behalf of a city centre Liverpool Academy who require a Teacher of PE to deliver 80% GCSE Theory in addition to Health and Social Theory and Sports Education Theory. You will also be required to teach 20% practical lessons/general cover.
The role is full time, to start asap and is ongoing.
The role:
- Teacher of PE
- Good curriculum knowledge of GCSE PE Theory
- Be willing to teach Health and Social Theory and Sports Education Theory
- Included in the timetable is 20% practical lessons/general cover
- Full-time position
- Asap start
- Until 18th July 2025
- Pay up to £223.62 per day depending on experience.
The school:
- 11-16 secondary school
- Mixed school
- 900 + students on roll
The essentials:
- Experience teaching PE Theory
- Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
- Full and complete career history
- Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
- Legal right to work in the UK
