Do you have experience working with children who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties?
Are you caring and adaptable and wanting to support children within a mainstream Primary school based in South Liverpool?
CER Education are currently looking for a highly motivated and engaging Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with complex needs, enabling them to achieve their full learning potential.
Full time hours working 8:30-3.45pm Monday to Friday.
This role is to start asap!
Job Responsibilities
- Working on a 1:1 basis supporting children with complex needs
- Have a positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
- Keeping the child focused and engaged in their learning using different tools and methods
- Liaising with the relevant class teachers and providing support where required
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with SEN/Disabilities
- Confidence supporting children and young people with different types of Special Educational Needs
- Understanding of OFSTED requirements
- Understanding of Safeguarding
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to complete and pay for a new DBS application
