Are you caring and adaptable and wanting to support children within a mainstream Primary school based in South Liverpool?

CER Education are currently looking for a highly motivated and engaging Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with complex needs, enabling them to achieve their full learning potential.

Full time hours working 8:30-3.45pm Monday to Friday.

This role is to start asap!

Job Responsibilities

  • Working on a 1:1 basis supporting children with complex needs
  • Have a positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
  • Keeping the child focused and engaged in their learning using different tools and methods
  • Liaising with the relevant class teachers and providing support where required

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with SEN/Disabilities
  • Confidence supporting children and young people with different types of Special Educational Needs
  • Understanding of OFSTED requirements
  • Understanding of Safeguarding
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to complete and pay for a new DBS application
