A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join a friendly and supportive HR & Payroll team in Liverpool. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of both weekly and monthly payrolls.This is a full-time, office-based role, offering a structured work environment with excellent benefits and career development opportunities.   • Process end-to-end payroll efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure seamless data transfer from the Time & Attendance system to payroll processing.
  • Manage payroll queries and liaise with depot service administrators to resolve discrepancies.
  • Accurately input hours, shift allowances, and overtime in line with pay structures.
  • Balance and submit RTI reports through the Government Gateway.
  • Process pension Auto Enrolment, company pensions, and statutory deductions.
  • Assist with year-end payroll tasks, including P60s, P11ds, PSA, and Gender Pay reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, including tax, NI, SSP, SMP, and SPP.
  • Support communications with HMRC as needed.

About YouWe're looking for a detail-oriented and organised payroll professional who is confident working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in payroll processing - ideally within a role managing weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, pensions, statutory deductions, and payments.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting strict deadlines with accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • A confident communicator who can liaise with multiple stakeholders.
