We are seeking a dedicated and motivated ACT/Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join our client's pharmacy team at a private hospital in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly registered ACTs, as no prior hospital experience is required. The team is committed to providing comprehensive training to support your development in this role.

Job Title: Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician 

Location: Private Hospital, Liverpool

Employment Type: Full-time (5 days per week)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break)

Salary: £17 - £26 per hour

Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months

Start Date: April/May 2024

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medications in accordance with hospital standards.

  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management.

  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication supplies.

  • Participate in continuous professional development and training programmes.

  • Assist with inventory management and stock control within the pharmacy.

  • Support the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with an ACT qualification.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
