Our private sector client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support their neuro centre in Liverpool on a permanent basis.

About the site:

You'll be based at their neurological centre, which provides innovative rehabilitation and ongoing support to enable people to thrive after a brain injury.

People will initially come for a 12-week assessment period, where they begin rehabilitation to support their recovery. This is then reviewed and may be extended to allow for further rehabilitation to be supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a specialist clinical area, developing skills in neurological rehabilitation with senior OT support.
  • Manage and prioritise a caseload of individuals with complex health needs or challenging behaviors under supervision.
  • Complete the OT process, using evidence-based, person-centred approaches to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatments.
  • Develop care programs, delegate to support staff, monitor progress, and adjust treatments for effective outcomes using the neurobehavioural model.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy, registered with the HCPC.
  • Demonstrate experience working within a neurological setting / with neurological patients.
