Desian Education are supporting an inner city Liverpool primary school to recruit a passionate and skilled Maths Intervention Teacher to join a strong KS2 team and make a significant impact on the progress and attainment of the pupils in Maths. This role is focused on delivering targeted interventions to support children who require additional help to meet their full potential within Maths.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, tailored intervention sessions in literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects for small groups or individuals.
  • Collaborating with class teachers to identify learning gaps and set specific goals for pupils.
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers, parents, and leadership teams.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters confidence, independence, and resilience in learners.
  • Contributing to the school’s wider commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all pupils.
