Responsibilities

Working as a KS1 Teacher within a Liverpool school, you will be expected to deliver fun based learning which is differentiated to meet the needs of each pupil, and to ensure they will achieve positive results. The school has low levels of Pupil premium and FSM. The school is highly supportive and will support you in your new role.

The role will be challenging yet rewarding, working in an ever changing environment where you can make a real difference. You will be able to demonstrate practical, holistic teaching and be prepared to go above and beyond for the young people you teach.

  • An understanding of the National Curriculum (2014) framework
  • Have a clear understanding of the needs of all children and be able to use and evaluate distinctive approaches to engage and support them
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and take responsibility for promoting high standards of professionalism at all times
  • Ensure learning is effectively differentiated in order to allow all pupils to access the curriculum

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status

Knowledge of the National Curriculum (2014)

Have a flexible, can-do approach

Ensure your CV covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible (all employment breaks must be explained)

Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process

Provide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 years

Have legal right to work in the UK
